Ember & Oak does not exist. This website demonstrates the Cheviot Web Studio ordering platform: the menu, prices, reviews, awards, address and phone number are invented. Orders placed here are test orders. No food is prepared or delivered and no money changes hands.
1. Who runs this site
The demonstration is operated by Cheviot Web Studio, Scottish Borders (hello@cheviotwebstudio.co.uk). It is provided for evaluation only.
2. Test orders
When you place an order it is recorded and shown on the demo Order Hub, exactly as a real order would be. Staff using the demo may accept, complete or cancel it to show the workflow. Nothing is owed by you or by us as a result.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are illustrative. The only payment option shown is "pay at collection or delivery", which in this demonstration means no payment at all. Card payment is switched off.
4. Your details
Please enter made-up contact details. Anything you enter is handled as described in the Privacy Policy and deleted when the demonstration is reset.
5. Availability
The demonstration may be reset, changed or taken offline at any time without notice.
6. Intellectual property
The platform code is the copyright of Cheviot Web Studio. The Ember & Oak name, logo, photographs and copy were created for this demonstration and may not be reused.
7. These terms
Scottish law applies. If you are evaluating the platform for your own restaurant, the terms of a real deployment are agreed separately.
